The Project includes the following Work: Rehabilitating the exterior and interior of a 218,000-gallon glass-coated steel potable water ground reservoir. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, the removal, cleaning, and replacement of vertical and horizontal wall and dome panel seals, replacing magnesium cathodes, cleaning and repainting sump, replacing PVC overflow with stainless steel and replacing the fall arrest/ladder system. The anticipated substantial completion date is June 29, 2025, and final completion date is July 31, 2025. Instructions to Bidders. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
