Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project includes adding new ADA compliant curb ramp replacements on the SW Arrowhead Road and SW Foxcroft Circle S intersection. American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) contractual provisions apply to this project. Davis-Bacon wages do not apply. City project 601127.08 Project consists of adding new ADA curb ramp replacements on the SW Arrowhead Rd. & SW Foxcroft Cir. S intersection as shown on the included Exhibit A. The intent of this project is to make the sidewalk ramps ADA compliant and to increase pedestrian safety on the intersection. Project may include additional work associated with or affected by the construction activities. The approximate bid quantities of the project are: 1. Combined Curb & Gutter, (Type varies) 44.00 L.F. 2. 4" Concrete Sidewalk, 5' wide 400.00 S.F. 3. 6" Concrete Sidewalk Ramp 600.00 S.F. 4. Aggregate Base - (Type AB-3) 14.40 Ton 5. Asphalt Pavement Patching (2") 1.70 Ton 6. Topsoil 3.00 CY7. Seeding, Fertilizing & Mulching 0.10 Acre8. Inlet Protection 4.00 Each 9. Traffic Control 1.00 L.S. The work will be complete and ready for final acceptance/payment within 30 days of the Start Work Order. Additional days for inclement weather will be granted at the discretion of the Construction Manager.
