Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Eastvale, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
All Bidder questions, clarifications or comments shall be submitted via e-mail only to Tyler Hughes, Parks & Recreation Department, Management Analyst, at thuqhes@jcsd.us and must be received no later than August 6, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The District reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the District that the bidder is the lowest responsible bidder properly qualified to carry out the contract. Before submitting a bid, the bidder shall be licensed to perform as prime Bidder in accordance with the provisions of the Bidder's State License Law, California Business and Professions Code Section 7000 et seq. As evidence of such qualification, the bidder shall record on Bid Proposal the number, classification and termination date of all necessary State licenses. Necessary District licenses may be secured after the bids are opened, but prior to executing the contract. The District reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the District that the bidder is the lowest responsible bidder properly qualified to carry out the contract. The Jurupa Community Services District Parks & Recreation Department is currently responsible for providing recreation programs, services and events; managing and maintaining over 240 acres of parkland, including 15 parks, a 35,000 square foot Community Center, a 5,000 square foot Activity Center, and a 2.5 acre special event venue in the JCSD Parks Territory within the City of Eastvale; graffiti abatement for the cities of Eastvale and Jurupa Valley; and maintaining over 4 million square feet of public frontage and median landscaping, as contracted by the cities of Eastvale and Jurupa Valley. Project Overview The District is seeking bids from qualified contractors to complete the exterior painting of The Eastvale Community Center (13820 Schleisman Road, Eastvale, CA 92880 B. General Scope of Work Preparation Work: Contractor shall provide all the necessary personnel, materials, equipment, transportation, safety apparatus, etc. required to complete the following: o Power washing of all exterior walls/surfaces. o Repair all surfaces as required (including filling of cracks). o Ensuring walls and materials are clean and dry before painting/surfacing. o Apply proper sealants as necessary around windows and doors. o Apply protective materials to prevent spills/stains. 2. Painting: Apply two (2) coats of paint to various surfaces to ensure consistency with existing color schemes. Detailed specifications are as follows: 1.
