Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kennewick, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project is for Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) patching of various streets city-wide that are experiencing isolated areas of failure. Work will involve saw cutting and removing existing asphalt and 6-inches of rock course, preparing and replacing with CSTC, compacting, placing HMA, crack sealing patched areas, and striping in areas as identified in the bid package. The City will post any Addenda and Bidder questions & answers solely through online Online Chat is available from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. MT at online top left corner. If unable to reach Public Purchase, contact the City of Kennewick Public Works Department at 509-585-4247. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Kennewick. The City of Kennewick reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
