On behalf of Community Mental Health (CMH), Ingham County seeks proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to enter into an agreement for furnishing and installing a stormwater pump system. Currently the CMH building is experiencing flooding problems during intense storms and the current pumping systems are not able to keep up with the runoff. Refer to the enclosed Project Manual and drawings for complete project requirements; if any terms and conditions differ from the RFP, the County's terms and conditions shall prevail. PROJECT LOCATION Community Mental Health Building 812 E. Jolly Road Lansing, MI 48910 Question Deadline 08/08/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Any explanation desired by a Proposer regarding the meaning or interpretation of this RFP and attachments must be requested only to the Ingham County Purchasing Department, at questions@ingham.org. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Guarantee shall be in the form of a bid bond executed by an approved surety company, made payable to the County of Ingham. Bid guarantee shall run for a period of not less than ninety (90) days. If the successful proposer fails to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds and insurance certificates within ten (10) business days after receipt of Notice of Award, such guarantee shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. Event Pre-bid notes: The purpose of this meeting is to allow proposers an opportunity to present questions and obtain \ clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation. Any material changes resulting from this meeting will be issued in a written addendum and sent to vendors who have completed the Signin Sheet legibly. Information can also be found online Any preprinted contract forms the vendor proposes to include as part of the contract resulting from this solicitation must be submitted as part of the proposal. Any standard contract provisions not submitted as part of the proposal and subsequently presented for inclusion may be rejected. The County reserves the right to accept or reject in whole or in part any form contract submitted by a proposer and/or to require that amendments be made thereto, or that an agreement drafted by the County be utilized. FINAL COMPLETION All work, including project clean-up, and traffic control removal shall be completed on or before October 31, 2024.
