As of November 11, 2025, this project was cancelled. The Village of Lake Isabella is seeking sealed bids for the acquision and installaon of a natural gas backup generator system at the Village's Department of Public Works (DPW) Building. The DPW Building is located at 201 S. Coldwater Road and has natural gas service provided by Consumers Energy. The standby generator is to be installed and connected to the natural gas supply and be used to provide sufficient power to the building in the event of a power loss to operate the heang system, well, lighng, outlets, and garage doors. The minimum size of the generator will be 20kW.
