As of September 13, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The Town of Granby, Connecticut is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the renovation and modernization of the main library building located at 15N Granby Rd, Granby, CT. This project aims to enhance the facility's functionality, aesthetics and safety to better serve the community's needs. The Director of Library Services (DLS) will act on behalf of the Town of Granby to manage this project. The scope of work includes the following: o Removal of carpets in library's adult area, teen area, 1 study room and adult staff offices. o Installation of commercial grade carpet tile in library adult, teen, and study area. o Installation of laminate flooring around adult circulation desk and adult services offices. o Removal of wallpaper from adult library area, 1 study room and staff offices. o Paint walls in the adult area, study room and staff offices with commercial grade paint. o Remove and replace all light switch and outlet covers Question Deadline 08/23/2024 All questions regarding this Request for Proposal shall be submitted via email only to Kathy Kane, Purchasing Coordinator, Town Manager's Office kkane@granby-ct.gov. Responses will be posted on the Town's website. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities or to reject any or all proposals when such action is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town. The Town reserves the right to delete such items as it deems necessary from these proposals.
