2019-2023 Capital Fund Programs for Improvements at PA092- Shade View Apartments. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Cashier's Check Payable to the Snyder County Housing Authority in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Amount. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish and Pay for Satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond, Each in an Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Surety Must Be Listed on the Current U.s. Treasury Circular No. 570. A One-year Maintenance Bond Will Also Be Required From the Successful Bidder. Costs for All Bonds is the Responsibility of the Contractor and Shall Be Included as Part of the Submitted Base Bid. The Contractor Must Ensure That Employees and Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Their Race, Color, Religion, Sex, National Origin or Age. In Addition, the Contract Will Be Under the Requirements of Executive Order #11625 Relative to New Goals and Timetables and Section Iii of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and Where Applicable. The Snyder County Housing Authority Solicits and Encourages Minority Business Enterprise (Mbe) Participation. Mbe's Will Be Afforded Full Consideration of Their Responses and Will Not Be Subjected to Discrimination. Bidders Will Be Required to Comply With the Authority's Mbe Program Goal Requirements Where Applicable. The Snyder County Housing Authority Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding.
