2024 Fitness Center Dehumidification Units and Roof Replacement bid and be accompanied by a surety bond, certified check or cashier's check on a solvent bank in the sum equal to ten percent (10%) of amount bid, payable to the City of Twinsburg as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The work included in this project generally consists of replacing the existing dehumidification units and built-up roof system (approximately 13,000 square feet). The new roof is anticipated to be a single ply membrane roof assembly installed on the existing metal deck. The upper exterior wall assemblies shall be modified as required for the new roof, new roof drains provided, and heat tape installed at existing downspouts and gutters. Portions of the existing deck may need to be repaired after the existing built-up roof is removed; an allowance is included in the bid documents and the actual quantity and cost will be adjusted by change order. New dehumidification units with separate condensing section installed on new curbs. New controls. Upgradesto the Natatorium HVAC system including new supply and return air ducts. New pumpsfor the pool water heat recovery system. The scope includes interior selective demolition of walls and ceilings, replacement of ceiling tiles as shown on the drawings, and miscellaneous interior finishes.
