The roadway restriping project will begin June 9th and be completed by July 28th. The City has the right to award this project to the lowest, competent and most responsible bidder. Contactor shall review all streets with Engineering Department since some roadway striping is no longer visible, and some striping is being extended. Quantities shown in Table 1and Table 2 are approximate only - all discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the Engineer prior to installing striping on that street. Contractor shall submit daily quantities for each pay item by the end of each work day via office E-Mail to the Engineering Department. They shall update the quantity sheets (Table 1 & Table 2), in Excel format, for stop bars, arrows and cross-walk lines for all intersections including actual lane line lengths on the street list. City templates for arrows, words, etc. must be used. Contractor shall contact the Director of Public Works for the City Service Department to arrange pickup. These templates cannot be taken outside of the City. Contractor's foreman shall comply with all requests by the Director of Public Works before acquiring the templates including leaving a photo ID and security deposit. All templates must be returned clean and in a pre-existing condition. The following streets/pavement markings shall not be re-painted due to current construction projects and asphalt resurfacing on the following streets. Contractor shall schedule their work so as not to interfere with the annual Roadway Improvements Project that will be underway and to prevent gaps in the restriping of asphalt resurfaced roadways.
