Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Twinsburg, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Twinsburg intends to contract for design services to replace the existing Perici Amphitheater in Glenn Chamberlin Park. The project would provide a new stage and cover, with electrical components to support appropriate sound and lighting for larger known performers. The stage structure must also be able to support the weight of the sound and light equipment. It shall include a backstage area/dressing room to support the performers. Weather protection surrounding the stage would considered as an option. Scope of Work includes existing conditions survey, conceptual design, permitting, cost estimate, and construction plans and specifications. The selected consultant(s) will include licensed and certified professionals with significant past experience in the development of parks and recreation facilities including outdoor stages. Consultant should include references of past work and contacts. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Anticipated Construction Start: Week after Labor Day 2026 (approximately September 7, 2026) Final Landscaping Completion: By April 2027 Stage Ready for Use: By May 1, 2027
