The project's general intent is to implement several energy conservation measures (ECMs) described below in four phases. Phase 1: Control Modifications and Upgrades, and Pre-Retrofit TAB. a. Royal LePage Boiler Staging and Control Modifications. b. Royal LePage Dehumidification Control Modifications. c. Jim Lind Heating Plant BAS Integration. d. Testing and balancing of the specific existing pumps to confirm current flow rates. Submit written report to Consultant. Proposed Phase 1 Schedule: Commencement of Construction: By October 1, 2024 Substantial Completion: By November 30, 2024 Phase 2: Royal LePage Heat Pump Retrofit a. Replacing the existing modular heat pump in the Royal LePage Arena Mechanical Room with a 120-tons screw heat recovery chiller. b. Royal LePage Existing Piping Insulation. Proposed Phase 2 Schedule: Commencement of Construction: By November 30, 2024 Substantial Completion: By August 1, 2025 Phase 3: Jim Lind Heat Pump & Desuperheater Retrofit a. Provide a new 20-tons heat recovery chiller c/w associated pumps and integrate to the existing condenser and heating systems of the Jim Lind Arena. b. Provide a new desuperheater and connect to the refrigeration plant to preheat the Zamboni hot water for the Jim Lind Arena. Proposed Phase 3 Schedule: Commencement of Construction: By January 1, 2025 Work Restriction: Shut down of the refrigeration plant is limited to June 1, 2025 to July 1, 2025. Substantial Completion: By August 1, 2025 Phase 4: Jim Lind Low-Temperature Heaters Retrofit a. Replacement of existing baseboard and force flow heaters in the Jim Lind Arena. Proposed Phase 4 Schedule: Commencement of Construction: Within 60 days after notice to proceed with this phase. Start of phase is dependent on winter trend data received for the Jim Lind Heating Systems after completion of Phase 1. Notice to proceed with this phase is anticipated by March 30, 2025.
