Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Niles, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of 8/22/2024 There were no bids received. The work to be performed consists of asphalt pavement improvements to the Niles Greenway Multi-Use Trail between Ruppell Road and McKees Lane. Work includes tree removal, tree root removal with full depth asphalt pavement removal & replacement, and asphalt pavement overlay. Total project length is 2,240' with an average asphalt surface width of 10'. Each bidder shall be required to complete and file with his bid the enclosed Proposal Guaranty and Performance/Payment Bond Form (Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code) with a Surety Company executing the Bond, which is listed on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and authorized to transact business in the State where the project is based. (A) A Contract Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the estimated cost of the work conditioned, among other things that the Contractor will perform the work upon the terms proposed, within the time prescribed, in accordance with the plans and specifications. (B) A Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the estimated cost of the work conditioned for the payment by the Contractor and all Sub-contractors for labor performed and materials famished in connection with the project involved. This Project Shall Be Completed by October 15, 2024. The City of Niles reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities in bidding.
