Site work and paving for a civil project in Holland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The City of Wyoming regional water system provides water to a significant portion of Ottawa and Kent Counties, serving 11 communities in whole or part. The estimated service population is approximately 250,000 persons. The City of Wyoming Donald K Shine Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is located at 16700 New Holland Street and is a conventional surface water treatment plant with source water from Lake Michigan. Finished drinking water is supplied by pumps at the WTP through two large parallel pipes which end approximately 26 miles east at the Gezon Pumping Station in the City of Wyoming. The two pipes are primarily prestressed cylinder concrete pipe (PCCP) of 42-inch and 54-inch diameters. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of the City of Wyoming in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of 120 days after the receipt of bids. It is the intent of the Owner to consider award of Contracts No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3, to the successful bidder at the September 16, 2024, City Council Meeting. Award of the project will be contingent on sale of the bonds, which is anticipated in October 2024. Construction may begin immediately after Notice to Proceed. See Project Specifications for additional schedule limitations. See Project Specifications for contract specific milestones and completion dates. Overall, the three contracts must be completed in accordance with the following dates: - Contract No. 1 Substantial Completion April 1, 2026 - Contract No. 1 Final Completion July 1, 2026 Contract No. 2 and No. 3 Substantial Completion/Piping System Operational October 1, 2026 - Contract No. 3 and No. 3 Final Completion July 1, 2027 The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least one hundred twenty (120) days thereafter.
