Manitoba is currently working to modernize its procurement processes to support sustainable economic growth and improve services and benefits for Manitobans. One of the ways in which Manitoba is modernizing its processes is to review and develop a strategy to procure, administer, and manage Tower Inspection and Assessment, Maintenance and repair, Construction and Installation and Decommissioning Services. To support this, Manitoba is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to assess the market for vendors that offer all or a subset of Tower Inspection and Assessment, Maintenance and repair, Construction and Installation and Decommissioning Services. No contract will be awarded as a result of this RFI. Towers are structures that hold equipment and support the delivery of telecommunication signals and transmission infrastructure. Tower infrastructure includes equipment such as: base stations, receivers, antennas, radios, dishes, transmitters, etc. Manitoba is looking to develop a go-to-market strategy for supporting scope of Tower Inspection and Assessment, Maintenance and repair, Construction and Installation and Decommissioning Services requirements for Government of Manitoba departments and Broader Public Sector Organizations (BPSO). The goal of this RFI is to solicit information in a formal and structured manner; to understand the current market. It will help us gather existing market information that will aide preparation for a potential tender process in the future.
