Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision, and transportation needed to clean, reseal and restripe an asphalt parking lot. The US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), US Salinity Laboratory is seeking parking lot sealing services for the 450 W. Big Springs Rd., Riverside, CA location. B. OBJECTIVES The objective of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to clean, seal, and stripe 45,000 sq ft of existing asphalt parking. C. SCOPE The contractor shall propose sealing services according to the tasks listed below. See Exhibit A-map. D. TASKS TASK 1: POWERWASH CLEAN ASPHALT SURFACE, APPLY WEED KILL, AND APPLY ONE (1) COAT OF SEALANT TASK 2: RESTRIPE AND RESTENCIL TO EXISTING LAYOUT TASK 3: CLEAN CRACKS OF LOOSE DEBRIS AND WEEDS AND APPLY HOT RUBBERIZED CRACKFILL TO MEDIUM-TO-LARGE SIZED CRACKS E. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT AND GOVERNMENT FURNISHED INFORMATION The government shall insure the lot is free from all vehicles upon commencement of work. Landscape water will be turned off twenty-four (24) hours prior to commencement of work and remain off for forty-eight (48) hours after completion of work to allow for curing of materials. Area will remain close to foot and vehicular traffic for a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours after completion of work. Work will be performed on weekdays, excluding federal holidays. Federal holidays are: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. The government will not provide a workspace, telephone, desk, computer, printer, Internet access, access to duplicating machines or fax. All work shall be done in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions, drawings, statement of work (SOW) and other attachments set forth in the RFQ. IAW FAR 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. Completion shall be no later than October 5, 2024.
