The City of Boonville is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors for corrective pruning and removal of selected trees on City Right-of-Ways and property. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and determine the bid which is in the best interest of the City. The best bid may not be the low bid. We also reserve the right to accept or reject portions of the recommendation if deemed to be in the City's best interest. 1. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, transportation, equipment and materials necessary to remove or trim trees from City Rights of Way, City Parks, and other City operated facilities, and to dispose of all debris resulting from such work, as directed by the City. 2. Contractor shall perform all work to the complete satisfaction of the City and in accordance with all applicable federal, municipal, county, state and other local laws, ordinances and regulations. 3. All stumps to be removed with a power grinder to a uniform depth of at least 12 inches below grade. Any stumps that may sit so close to the curb or sidewalk as to prohibit grinding to that depth shall be ground as deep as possible and the surface leveled. All debris/chips that result from the grinding shall be removed from the site and the hole backfilled with clean topsoil, seeded and strawed. 1. 215-217 E. Morgan St. Remove Tree 2. Alpine & Morgan, South side of intersection. There are 3 large trees that need to be cut down and can be left in the woods. Stumps will not have to be removed on these. 3. Santa Fe Trail & Parkway Dr. Harley Park.At the entrance to the park the tree needing removed is on the sw corner. 4. 610 Third Remove Tree 5. 904 Third Remove Tree 6.1201 Third Remove Tree 7. 322 Seventh Remove Tree 8. 322 Seventh, Morgan St. side Remove Tree 9. This is not a large list, but there are 10 trees total and some of these are fairly large trees. . The delivery date shall be stated in definite terms and may be considered in making the award. All work is to be completed prior to November 30, 2024.
