Disadvantaged Businesses Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc., 2750 West Washington Street, Springfield, Illinois 62702, 217-787-8050 is seeking disadvantaged businesses for the Sangamon County Water Reclamation District's Oak Ridge CSO Improvements Project for subcontracting opportunities in Construction Material Testing Services per scope of work listed below. All disadvantaged businesses should contact, IN WRITING, Certified Letter, Return Requested, Shane Remmert, to discuss the subcontracting opportunities within 16 calendar days of this notice. Scope of Work: Testing shall include the following scope of work: Standard Proctor Density Tests, on-site soils compaction test, inspection of subgrades, concrete pavement testing per IDOT requirements, asphalt pavement testing per IDOT requirements, structural concrete materials testing including: cylinder compression tests, slump test, air entrainment test. Selection: The selection of specialty subcontractors shall be based on the following criteria: Similar Project Experience and Expertise (50%) Previous related work experience, technical expertise/certifications, communication skills and overall qualifications of personnel assigned. Demonstrates experience in projects of similar scope, scale, and complexity. References (20%) History and performance of company on similar projects. References and recommendations from previous clients. Resources (15%) Availability of essential personnel based on current workload and future commitments. Adequacy of amount and quality of resources to meet construction schedule Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (15%). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
