Renovation of an educational facility in Wolcott, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Boiler Replacement Project at Frisbie and Wakelee Elementary Schools, Wolcott Board of Education The total project budget for the scope noted above is $1,000,000. It is anticipated that the designer will be selected by August 30, 2024. Construction documents shall be completed by December 1, 2024 with review and approval of such documents occurring by December 13, 2024. The project will be advertised for bid immediately following the new year with bids being due no later than February 1, 2024. The construction delivery method will be a general contractor delivery. Award is expected to follow immediately subject to the being within the owner's budget. Construction shall commence immediately upon graduation, but this date may be moved to an earlier if the contractor operations do not disrupt school operations. Construction shall be substantially complete by August 15, 2025.
