he Project consists of the construction of a new maintenance facility to be located on Rt. 69 in Wolcott. The new 5,850 square foot building is a facility composed of 3,525 sf of bay area and a 2,325 sf office core area. The building is steel frame construction with exterior steel siding. The work includes concrete, steel framing, steel joists, metal roof, waterproofing, insulation, metal wall panels and accessories, fireproofing, joint sealants, expansion control, doors and frames, overhead coiling doors, aluminum and steel windows, hardware, glazing, louvers, metal framing and gypsum board, interior finishes, interior specialties, equipment, furnishings, tank monitoring system, plumbing systems, heating-ventilating-air conditioning systems, electrical systems, communications systems, and electronic safety systems. Site work associated with this facility consists of excavation and grading, removal and disposal of existing pavement, re-use of a fuel-oil aboveground storage tank and wastewater holding underground storage tank, new 1000 gallon diesel tank and motor fuel island, new domestic water well, potable water underground storage tank and booster pump, septic system, generator, new utilities, new pavement, fencing, pavement markings, limited turf establishment, and exterior site lighting. This contract is scheduled to be advertised on February 25, 2026, with a scope of "H". - $ 7,500,000 - $ 9,999,999 The CTDOT, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and terminate the process to retain consultant services, and is under no obligation to contract for the services specified herein. The CTDOT reserves the right to add other assignments of a similar nature to this selection process should the need arise prior to the interview phase.
