Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Northfield, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The City of Northfield is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified contractors to design, build, and maintain a solar installation on City property and provide power to City facilities. The City has been approved to submit a full grant application for the Minnesota Solar for Public Buildings Grant Program. The City wishes not to exceed $120,000 in total project cost, to maximize leveraging the funding from the Minnesota Department of Commerce. This not to exceed amount is based on the Department's study findings that $3 per watt (W) is the average cost for similar solar installations in the State. RIGHT TO REJECT PROPOSALS Bid proposals shall remain valid for 60 days after the opening of the proposals. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
