Bacon Academy opened in 1993 as a 192,564 sq. ft. comprehensive high school. Air conditioning has still not been provided for seven separate sections of the building which impacted the learning environment during the later spring and early fall months. The replacement of the Bacon Academy Cafeteria RTU F1 along with seven other condensing units and their DX coils. The Colchester Board of Education strives to create the safest and cleanest environment for its students and staff. In addition to improving the indoor air quality, Colchester schools are looking to enhance and support the long term educational programs we provide to our students.
