Ogden Road/Loutsenhizer Canal Culvert Replacement Project Question Deadline 08/20/2024 at 2:00 PM MT For this bid the contact is Scott Murphy at (970) 901-1792 or email: smurphy@cityofmontrose.org All inquiries shall clearly identify the name of the firm and the authorized representative, the IFB number and title. The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete construction of the Ogden Road Loutsenhizer Culvert Replacement Project in accordance with the project plans and specifications. This work includes, but is not limited to, the following key tasks. A. Perform removals to clear the site for construction including, but not limited to, asphalt pavement, existing CMP culverts, and signage. B. Support existing communication utilities where passing through the bridge area and its open excavation. Reset utilities within the completed roadway, between the box culvert and pavement. C. Construct a sewerline extension below the Loutsenhizer Canal along the southern side of Ogden Road. D. Replace an existing PVC and steel waterline span and relocate beneath the new bridge on the northern side of Ogden Road. This will follow the same general alignment of the existing line but no temporary services are anticipated. E. Construct a new precast concrete four-sided box culvert and associated headwalls, wingwalls, and railing. This includes, but is not limited to, excavation, subgrade prep, foundation prep, backfill, and the relocation of an irrigation diversion headgate. F. Install empty communication conduits with hand-hole vaults across the project area. G. Reconstruct the roadway base and pave with hot mix asphalt. H. Implement stormwater management, traffic control, water management, site security, site restoration, and quality control testing as required to complete the work in accordance with the plans and specifications.
