Question Deadline 08/19/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents and the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda, mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered The work will include the following items: Storm Drainage Replacement and Waterline Relocation. Consideration will be given only to bids of Contractors who submit evidence that they are licensed under "An Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting", ratified by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina on March 10, 1925, and as subsequently amended, when such Act is applicable. Each Proposal shall be accompanied with a deposit of cash or CERTIFIED CHECK on some bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the Proposal, said check to be made payable to the Town of Gibsonville. In lieu of the above cash or CERTIFIED CHECK, the bidder may execute a Bid Bond for the same amount. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, by order of the Board of Aldermen, Town of Gibsonville, North Carolina.
