Site work and renovation of a civil project in Palm Springs, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Questions and requests for clarification and additional information must be received prior to the Deadline for Submission of Questions on August 16, 2024, at 5:00 PM local time. The Project consists of plugging/abandoning one (1) existing production well, Well No. 14, and constructing a replacement surficial aquifer production well, Well No. 14R, including drilling, setting of casings and/or well screen, grouting, testing, well logging, video logging, acidization (optional), pump testing, formation water disposal system (including temporary piping and pumps), well facility disinfection, fencing, clearing and restoration of well site, new pump and motor including column pipe and appurtenances, well head piping and appurtenances, flow meter, raw water main piping / tiein, generator and below-grade LPG tank installation, Automatic Transfer Switch installation, electrical and controls, site work and restoration, as described herein and as shown on the drawings. The project also consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for testing / pressure grouting of existing sanitary sewer piping including applicable site work and restoration, as described herein and as shown on the drawings. Bidding Documents may be viewed and downloaded online. Hard copies of bidding Documents may be obtained from Holtz Consulting Engineers, Inc. on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Bidders must submit their responses electronically. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Any questions regarding the specifications and Solicitation process must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Specialist at procurement@vpsfl.org. Questions and requests for clarification and additional information must be received prior to the Deadline for Submission of Questions on August 16, 2024, at 5:00 PM local time. Pursuant to Section 2-355 of Palm Beach County Ordinance No. 2011-039, and the purchasing policies of the Village of Palm Springs, all Solicitations, once advertised, are under the "Cone of Silence" until the appropriate authority has approved an award recommendation, rejected all responses or some other action by the Village to end the selection process. This limits and requires documentation of communications between potential Bidders and/or Bidders on Village Solicitations, the Village's professional staff, and the Village Council members.
