CONTRACTORS NEED TO FILL IN THE FORM INDICATED ON THE SECOND PAGE OF THE INVITATION TO BID TO BE ADDED TO THE APPROVED BIDDER'S LIST AND TO GET A COPY OF THE DOCUMENTS****** o Will Carleton Road Water Main Looping the existing water main on Waltz Road and Mineral Springs Road. This project includes the installation of approximately 1,300 feet 12-inch HDPE by directional boring and 185 feet 12-inch D.I Water Main by open cut and 120 feet 12-inch HDPE installed in a 24-inch Jack and Bore Casing, new two (2) gate valve and well and three (3) fire hydrants. o Nieman Road Water Main Replacement: This project includes the replacement of the existing water main with 350 feet 8-inch HDPE water main by directional drilling, 750 feet 8-inch HDPE by pipe bursting, and 50 feet 8-inch HDPE by open cut, one new 8-inch gate valve and well, two (2) new fire hydrants, and eleven (11) new water service. o Pennsylvania Road Water Main Looping: This project includes the installation of 370 feet HDPE 12-inch by directional drilling, 125feet of 12-inch HDPE installed in 24-inch jack and bore casing, and 100 feet D.I water main to connect both ends of the existing water main in Pennsylvania Road. The anticipated start date, weather permitting, is September 09, 2024, and will be substantially completed within and substantial completion on March 24, 2025, and fully completed by April 28, 2025. Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 90 days after the date of bid opened. ENGINEER reserves the right not to answer questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of bids. All questions relating to the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the ENGINEER in writing.
