Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Brownstown Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
This Bid Package will consist of separate sealed Bids for the following Bid Divisions: (NOTE: ONLY BID DIVISION 115 IS BEING RE-BID. All other Bid Divisions are for Reference Only) : Metal Studs / Drywall / Acoustical Treatments (RE-BID). For the following two schools: BATES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: 22811 Gudith Rd, Woodhaven, MI 48183 GUDITH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: 22700 Sibley Rd, Brownstown Township, MI 48193 Bids shall be submitted electronically. A Bid security by a quality surety in the form of a Bid bond, cashier check, or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid, payable to Woodhaven-Brownstown School District, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District is secured from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the Bid or the failure of the Bidder to enter into a Contract for performance. The Woodhaven-Brownstown School District will not consider a Bid that does not include a Bid security. Further, the Bidder will execute the Contract, provide the required insurance certificate(s) and file the required bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract but prior to Work commencing. If awarded a Contract, the successful Bidder may be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract price The Woodhaven-Brownstown School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities and irregularities therein, or to award the Contract to other than the Bidder (s) submitting the best financial Bid (low Bidder), in its sole and absolute discretion..
