Reference Number 0000376745 The Brownstown Fire Department is inviting bids from qualified vendors to clean, prime (as necessary), and paint the interior block walls and ceiling of the Apparatus Bay. The scope of work includes the following: Use an air compressor to blow down the ceiling and exhaust the debris. Apply Dryfall white paint to the ceiling with an airless sprayer. The walls will also be painted Dryfall white, extending 1 block down from the ceiling, approx. 5,000 sgft Clean and prime the interior walls as needed, then paint the block walls, conduit, piping, or other wall surfaces. The walls will feature a two-tone color scheme: a darker gray on the lower third and a lighter gray on the upper part, with a red stripe separating the two colors, approx. 6,000 sgft The vendor will supply color samples, from which the Brownstown Fire Department will select the final colors. The vendor is responsible for supplying all materials, labor, equipment, lifts, and drop cloths. The awarded vendor must provide a Certificate of Insurance, and a W-9 form. The Brownstown Fire Department reserves the right to reject any quotes received, as well as to make minor changes or negotiate terms. If the vendor fails to complete the work within the agreed-upon time frame after the quote is accepted, the Brownstown Fire Department reserves the right to accept a quote from another vendor.
