The Department of Housing and Community Development (Department) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) in order to obtain contractors to provide heating and cooling system replacements and repairs across the State of Maryland. Services generally include the assessment of failed heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) or water heating systems, the installation of new HVAC systems, performing repairs, or other work to restore functioning heating, cooling, or water heating to income-eligible single-family detached homes, duplexes, townhomes, or walk-up apartment buildings with four (4) or fewer units, for owners and renters, as further described in the Scope of Work. The anticipated duration of services to be provided under this Contract is three (3) years, with one (1) one-year renewal term, to be exercised in the sole discretion of the Department. Question Deadline 08/30/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions, including concerns regarding any applicable MBE or VSBE participation goals, shall identify in the subject line the Solicitation Number and Title (BPM039450 - HVAC Contractors Services ), and shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to the Procurement Officer. MBE Subcontracting Goal: 20% MBE with no subgoals VSBE Subcontracting Goal: 2% VSBE
