Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a transportation facility in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a 631,022-square-foot transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the construction of a transportation facility; for the renovation of a 516,644-square-foot transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

The goal of this project is to expand Terminal 3 by approximately 631,022 gross square feet and to renovate approximately 516,644 gross square feet of the existing facility. The terminal will remain in operation throughout the project and will require extensive phasing. This will include upgrading building systems, seismic retrofit, improving passenger flow, enhancing the passenger experience, and new gates to maximize flexibility. Trade Package Scope Description: Turner is seeking prequalification submissions for the SFO Terminal 3 West Modernization Project. This trade package covers installation of spray on fireproofing (SOFP) of all primary steel within the West Addition area of the SFO Terminal 3 West Project. There will be future SOFP trade packages that will be published at a later date for the Pre-Security and East Addition areas. Vendors who fail to submit the necessary prequalification information will not be considered prequalified and, consequently, will not be permitted to participate in the project.
