The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of mobilization, topsoil salvage, excavation to offload the Lot 16 drain bank, haulage of waste soil to the Brady Road Resource Management Facility (Brady Road Landfill) and construction of a compacted drain bank, final grading of topsoil and demobilization. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Mobilize, develop staging area and reclaim (b) Remove and stockpile the first 150mm of existing topsoil for final grading (c) Excavation to flatten drain slope and offload drain bank (d) Construction of an exterior compacted embankment (e) Haulage of waste soil to Brady Road Landfill (maximum 30 loads per day) (f) Culvert extensions and shortening, S & I Culvert Identifier (g) Re-establish outside swale to drain culverts (h) Final grading to a minimum 100mm depth with salvaged topsoil (i) Demobilize The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission bid security in the form of a digital bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price A performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the form attached to these Supplemental Conditions (Form H1: Performance Bond), in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price. A labour and material payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the form attached to these Supplemental Conditions (Form H2: Labour and Material Payment Bond), in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
