We will be connecting onto the existing 6" PVC main on the east side of PR242 with 1700 feet of 38mm HDPE service line. 6" x 1/2" saddle 11/2" main stop 11/2" curb stop (valve, rod, box) White Marker posts 1700 feet of 11/2" (38 mm) DR17 service line 11/2" DR17 Pipe Inserts Can be trenched 2/3 of distance and remainder directionally drilled (North side of driveway) Must be live tapped Must use new material Any service couplings used must be fusion coupling (contractor responsible for supplying fusion welder and couplings) If applicable, contractor responsible for jackhammering and re-cementing The Contractor will be responsible for all line locates. All work must be scheduled with the Municipal Public Works staff. The contractor will provide 1 year Warranty on work after installation. Final clean up including landscaping and reseeding must be approved by the municipality. 10% of payment will be withheld until the project meets Municipal standards. We will be connecting onto the existing 8" HDPE main between the PTH #1 eastbound lane and the south service road with 1050 feet of 2 inch (50mm) HDPE service line. Also, per Highways standards, a 415 foot sleeve will also be required under the Highway portion.
