Reference Number 0000281024 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/11/11 12:00:00 PM CST Providing equipment and labour to perform winter maintenance operations on Provincial Roads (PR) 350 and Provincial Trunk Highway (PTH) 1 Service Roads in the Province of Manitoba during the 2024/2025 Winter Season. The work locations are: 1 PR 350 from PR 242 to PTH 1 2 PTH 1 Service Roads Various Locations The work period will commence on approximately November 30, 2024 and conclude on approximately March 31, 2025, on every day with no days of rest. The Winter Season shall be defined as the approximate time period between November 30th to March 31st and applies to the bid items for Snowplowing, Winter Motor Grader Hourly and Standby, depending on weather and environmental conditions. Liquidated Damages Notwithstanding the Specification for Liquidated Damages, 130.5 Working Days Shall Be Defined as the Time to Complete a Work Request as Detailed Below and Shall Apply to Each Request for Work. A Liquidated Damage of One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars Per Calendar Day Will Be Assessed to the Contractor for Snowplowing That Has Not Been Completed Within 48 Hours Following Notification From the Contract Administrator. A Liquidated Damage of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars Per Calendar Day Will Be Assessed to the Contractor for Hourly Work That Has Not Been Commenced Within 24 Hours Following Notification From the Area Works Supervisor or Their Delegate.
