Saving Project...

Renovation of a residential development in Martinez, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Q/A Cutoff Date: 09/02/2024 25 Days, 8 Hours, 30 Minutes to the deadline Q/A Cutoff Time: 05:00 PM EDT or 2:00 PM PT If you have any questions regarding this proposal or any of the documents attached, you may use the "Questions and Answers" area. Security Entrance Door Device The security entrance door must be a steel frame and door skin which clamps or bolts onto the existing door structure. That does not cause damage to the property and allows controlled access. Its primary functions are to prevent unauthorized entry and limit access only to those who need to be on the property. It is intended to be used as a temporary measure during periods of vacancy or construction/renovation. The locking device is based upon a numbered or colored digital system with additional options to increase the level of security and control measures. The doors are in modular sizes and have a facility to extend the widths to fit the opening and extendable fanlights to close any space above the standard door height. The design allows for maximum accessibility without compromising security. The door frame should be engineered from folded 2mm mild steel, with electronically welded and bolted joints and finished with a zinc coating. The door skin should have a 2mm galvanized substrate with an oyster gray plasticized finish. This finish allows for easy removal of graffiti and assists in blending the door into the surrounding environment. The locking mechanism is based upon a continuous locking channel which is installed inside the reinforced door edge and located into three sets of roller cams. The channel is driven vertically and engages with the cams. The locking components should be treated with a BZP finish. The digital lock should use a number sequence which deter unauthorized access and preserve the lifespan of the battery. Once activated, the digital lock should facilitate the opening/closing via numbered, lettered or colored codes. The keypad can take either a five or ten-digit code. A lock-out facility should be available so that should incorrect code be entered; the system will shut down for a specific period. To increase the control of access, a keypad lock can be added, which can override the digital system and be limited to key holders only. The rear door should be constructed in a similar way to the front door but operated manually from the inside only and would not need the digital locking system. The door has 2mm steel anti-lever features to bolt the sides and top of the frame and is fitted with a safety view-finder and a visual display panel which signals the status of the door. All doors, window screens and component parts must be quality controlled through a system of inspection procedures, maintenance programs and on-site quality management monitoring
