The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit and select a firm to provide professional engineering design, an antidegradation study, permitting and construction administration & inspection services: Develop construction documents and specifications for an advanced wastewater treatment facility & reuse via managed aquifer recharge. The proposed facility will take treated effluent from the City's excising south wastewater treatment plant, treat it to a higher quality than the excising groundwater, and discharge into the dry Arkansas Riverbed to recharge the Ogallala Aquifer and sustain the City's excising groundwater wells. It is the City's desire to have this project completed via a traditional design-bid-build delivery method. No pre-submittal meeting will be held.
