Fifth and Emerson Pedestrian Crossing - Material Testing. Description: The City of Wenatchee invites qualified material testing firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications for the following project. The selected consultant will provide material testing services for a safety improvement project concerning the intersection of Fifth Street and Emerson Avenue. The selected firm(s) must have experience in providing material testing services in accordance with the requirements of the current edition of the Washington State Department of Transportation's (WSDOT) Standard Specifications for the following materials: o Cement Concrete sampling and testing; o Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) sampling and testing; and o Soil/Base sampling and testing. Firms must also have a current Certificate of Accreditation from AASHTO demonstrating conformance with AASHTO R 18 and AASHTO Accreditation policies established by the AASHTO Committee on Materials and Pavements or comparable laboratory accreditation program approved by FHWA in order to perform material and testing services on this project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
