The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic Bids for a new observation deck structure and installation of split rail fencing along the existing walking path. The observation deck is to allow the general public to view wildlife, specifically migratory birds in their natural habitat. The project consists of constructing/framing a pressure treated wood deck, accessible ramp and stair structure, composite decking, compliant railings, pouring concrete piers and landing slab, installing metal roofing, and siding panels and installation of pressure treated split rail fencing. There are no connections of any utilities to the structure in this project. When bidding, amount Bid should be in dollars and cents no fractions of a cent will be accepted. A bid guarantee or bond is not required. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive technical defects in Bids and to accept or reject any part of the Bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, and all Bidders will be advised of the Bid results. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful Bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order.
