Inquiries must be received at least 7 days prior to the due date in order to be considered (deadline is August 6, 2024 by 3:00 p.m.). The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain the services of a qualified Contractor(s) to be readily available to provide instrumentation and control system calibration and preventative maintenance services for the Lynchburg Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). Specific jobs are not outlined or described herein. During the contract period, the successful Contractor(s) shall be available for any and all instrumentation and control system calibration and preventative maintenance service jobs required by the WRRF. The Contractor should have a flexible organization capable of performing multiple assignments simultaneously for emergency and non-emergency calls. The Owner reserves the right to cancel the Advertisement for Bids, reject any and all bids, waive any and all informalities, and disregard all conforming, nonconforming, conditional bids or counterproposals. The initial term of this contract shall be for a (1) one-year period, with the option to renew for up to (4) four additional (1) one-year terms, upon mutual agreement. Price increases will only be considered during the renewal period or if additional services are needed as determined by the City.
