Renovation of a water / sewer project in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Question Deadline 09/02/2024 Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The work to be done under these Contract Documents consists of the removal of approximately 902,000 cubic feet of PVC trickling filter media and surface grating from two trickling filters (Trickling Filter #1 and Trickling Filter #2) at the Bissell Point WWTF and replacement with new media and grating. Each trickling filter is 134-ft diameter by 32-ft media depth. Also included in the work for these two trickling filters is the removal of trickling filter wall liner system and replacement with new liner system; the geomembrane liner portion of the liner system is District-supplied; repairs to FRP ductwork and replacement of supports; the new ductwork supports are District-supplied; removal and replacement of drive unit parts; concrete trickling filter repairs and recoating; removal of one trickling filter center mast, and replacement with new center mast (center mast removal and replacement for Trickling Filter #1); the new center mast is District-supplied. Additional work includes replacement of rotary distributor drive controls, including new VFDs and panel and associated instrumentation, electrical and wiring requirements for six trickling filters.
