Site work for a civil project in Kelowna, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City of Kelowna is installing gravity sewer mains and services for 117 properties in Central Rutland that currently rely on septic systems. The project involves constructing 1,900 meters of sanitary sewer mains, 117 sanitary services, 30 concrete manholes, and paving 13,000 square meters of hot-mix asphalt, along with the required road gravels. The City of Kelowna is undertaking the installation of gravity sewer mains and services to approximately 117 properties in the Central Rutland area that currently do not have municipal sewer services and rely on septic fields. The general scope of the project includes: Constructing 1,900 linear meters of sanitary sewer mains Installing 117 sanitary services Building 30 concrete manholes Paving 13,000 square meters of hot-mix asphalt Laying associated road gravels Section I Villa Vista- Optional Scope pending budget approval. These works have an estimated budget of $5,100,000, including a contingency of $200,000 The City reserves the right to negotiate additional work with the successful contractor for potential future projects, including: Similar linear utility improvement projects. The roundabout project at the intersection of Belgo Road and Springfield Road. These additional works have an estimated total budget of $5,000,000 and are planned to be completed in 2025/2026 Documents can be obtained from https://kelowna.bonfirehub.ca/portal/
