Site work and renovation of a medical facility in Kelowna, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
The BC Cancer Kelowna Centre is renovating part of the Level 2 area where the HIM is located to expand their Systemic Therapy services and consolidate into a centralized and expanded space to increase systemic therapy capacity and enhance the overall patient experience. Through a full renovation and expansion within the existing facility, including the addition of new treatment bays and infusion chairs, BC Cancer Kelowna will be able to implement CST/Cerner, provide more advanced treatments and create a more comfortable environment for patients and their care givers. The expansion will also include enhancements to the regional cancer centre, such as improved seating, lighting, and decor, to create a more welcoming environment for patients and their families. This renovation will include demolition of the existing space, new finishes floor to ceiling, new partitions, new doors, new lighting and upgrades on the electrical and plumbing infrastructure, as well as a new HVAC unit dedicated for this area.
