Renovation of a stadium in Kelowna, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
The City is initiating a project requiring a qualified contractor to design, supply, install, and commission a comprehensive audio system, broadcast infrastructure, and television systems, complete with IT network infrastructure and IPTV throughout the arena. This will involve the following components: 1. Sound System/Acoustics: A comprehensive audio system in main and auxiliary areas, with necessary acoustic treatments. 2. Broadcast Cable Infrastructure: Permanent infrastructure with key panels and enclosures. 3. Screens, IT Network Infrastructure and IPTV System: Deployment of over 75 displays and related IT network infrastructure. The project is divided into two phases: Phase 1- Design Services: This phase involves comprehensive planning, permitting, cost estimation, and resolving design challenges. Upon successful completion and approval of the detailed design in Phase 1, the City reserves the right to directly negotiate with the successful contractor for Phase 2, which covers the supply and installation. Phase 2- Installation Services: This phase focuses on procuring and installing the required materials and systems, ensuring full compliance with City standards and quality requirements.
