This invitation is to rebuild a boiler in the science building as specified in the following bid at Eastern Kentucky University's Richmond, KY Campus. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for the complete project including all items as indicated throughout the attached event specifications. Work will begin immediately following an official Award of Contract and Purchase Order from Eastern Kentucky University. A point of contact for EKU Project Management will be provided to the awarded vendor at time of award. Eastern Kentucky University reserves the right to award in part or in whole and to award multiple suppliers/contracts if in the best interest of the university. Place ofPerformance: Science Bldg. Phase 1 Boiler Room EKU Campus Work Description: Retube Two Sellers Boilers - Boiler 1A M&200HP-105E S# 104119A Boiler IB M# 200HP-105E S# 104119B Project Scope of Work Overview o Pull permit for repair. o Lock out boilers. o Cut old tubes and remove tubes. o Prep tube sheets for new tubes. o Install new tubes roll and beaded tubes. o Replace relief valves. o Replace boiler all gaskets. o Close water side of boiler. o Perform hydro test on boiler. o After inspection close fire side of boiler. o Start boiler up and test operation and tune boiler. o Clean up work area
