St. Marys City Hall Demolition No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work to be done under this Contract shall include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide for the successful construction of the ST. MARYS CITY HALL DEMOLITION. Section Includes: Demolition, removal and subsequent disposal of utilities, pavements, ramps landings, building walls, foundation, and other items indicated to be removed. Related plumbing, HVAC, Electrical shall be removed and cap/terminated back to the nearest main piping, main duct, junction box, etc. 1.2 START-UP: A. The procedures shall provide for safe conduct of the work, careful removal of materials and building specified, protection of property which is to remain undisturbed, coordination with other work in progress, and timely disconnection of utility services. The procedures shall include a description of the methods and the equipment to be used for each operation, and a sequence of work. B. Where such disconnection will interrupt the utility services to a particular area, arrangements for the interruption shall be made with the Project Manager. 1.3 JOB CONDITIONS: A. Conduct demolition operations without interference of vehicle and pedestrian traffic in adjacent areas. B. Flag and tape off portions of existing site and buildings to remain, utilities and benchmarks from damage. Repair or replace if damaged by this work, at no time or additional cost to Owner. Bonds: Contractor to submit with the sealed bid a Bid Bond as noted in the Bid Bond Requirements. No bid will be considered without following this procedure. All other required Contract Documents must be fully completed and executed by the Contractor and his/her Surety, and submitted to the Owner on or before the issuance of Notice to Proceed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise, pursuant to federal and state law.
