In general, the Scope of Work includes professional services consultant to provide
engineering, permitting, bidding assistance, and construction administration services for the
North Jetty Parking Lot Upgrade project. The North Jetty is located on the north side of the
Siuslaw River in Florence.
The North Jetty Parking Lot Upgrade project will include the reconstruction of two parking lots:
1. West Parking Lot (Beach Access Lot) is approximately 56,300 SF and will include
parking lot upgrades (subbase, asphalt paving, striping, signage, ADA parking), a new
prefabricated vault restroom, a new fee station and light, limited utility work, and onsite stormwater drainage features.
2. East Parking Lot (Dive Lot or River Parking) is approximately 18,300 SF. and will
include parking lot upgrades (subbase, asphalt paving, striping, signage, ADA parking)
a new fee station and light, limited utility work and on-site stormwater drainage
features.
Lane County has performed a preliminary investigation of the parking lots with core samples
of the existing structure and subbase.
