Site work and paving for a road / highway in Southaven, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are for improvements to the existing portion of Nail Road and the construction of a 50' wide road including a 10' wide multi-use concrete trail that is approximately 5300 feet long extending Nail Road to Tchulahoma Road. The project will consist of clearing and grubbing, earthwork, drainage, asphalt paving, traffic striping and related improvements The total Contract Time will be 300 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $500.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. The City of Southaven reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any information and irregularities therein, solicit new bids, award the bid to the lowest and best bidder No oral interpretation made to any Bidder as to the meaning ofthe Drawings and Specifications or Contract Documents shall be considered an effective modification ofthe provisions of the Contract Documents. Written and oral requests for interpretation of the Drawings and Specifications shall be submitted to the Engineer for a formal decision which will be given in writing to all Drawing and Specification holders.
