PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Replacement of water main and sanitary sewer main on North Dodge-Street from Franklin to North High Streets; new hydrants; transfer of water and sanitary services to new mains; select curb & gutter replacement; pavement removal, base preparation and new HMA pavement. BID SECURITY: All bids must be accompanied by a bank draft, cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond payable to the City of Galena for 10 percent of the total amount of the bid. PREVAILING WAGE: All work done under this contract is subject to all requirements of the Department of Labor, State of Illinois, and must pay the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Department of Labor and the Owner.
