Question Deadline 08/27/2024 at 10:00 PM CT A Bid Bond is not required for this solicitation. The Awarded vendor will be required to provide a Performance Bond as indicated on Attribute #12. Overview: The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive bids for an Iowa licensed electrical contractor to provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary for an electrical upgrade throughout the building as per the attached plans and specifications. Contractor to also provide and install a new backup generator at the IDOT Marion Maintenance Facility as per plans/specifications attached in this solicitation. Project includes removal and disposal of interior existing backup generator. Site Address: 5801 Linn Aire Avenue Marion, IA 52302 Estimated Start Date: September 15, 2024 (This is the estimated start date after all required documents are received, ie., insurance, performance bond and signed contract). Estimated Completion Date: October 30, 2025 (This includes resolution to all punch list items, inspections and DOT acceptance typically used in construction bids). NOTE: Contractors to propose a suggested revised completion date, taking into consideration winter weather conditions. This is a required Attribute. See Attribute #11.
