Site work and paving for a civil project in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Replacing watermains, catch basins, and sanitary manholes on Empire St., spanning from York St. to High St. This includes the installation of water service laterals, valves, hydrants, and extending sanitary pipes half of a pipe length in each direction from the new manholes. The work also encompasses street reconstruction and landscaping for all impacted areas. The project sequencing for Empire St. must be completed in phases with a period of at least one week between phases for installing temporary water. Phases are depicted on drawings. Temporary water is not permitted in Town from the end of October until the last day of frost in spring. Temporary water will be the responsibility of the Contractor.
