Renovation of a residential development in Euclid, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The City of Euclid Division of Community Development, within the Department of Planning and Development, is seeking interested residential roofing contractors to partner with in a new pilot program for homeowners with roofs violated by the Department of Building and Housing. This program will be made available to income-qualifying homeowners residing in Euclid. The City will provide 75% of the cost not to exceed $10,000.00, with the homeowner responsible for 25% of the remaining costs, for a new residential roof. The City would pay directly to the contractor upon completion and final inspection with the homeowner contributing their portion prior to commencement of the work. The program will be supported with funding through the City of Euclid's annual allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. The City reserves the right to limit the number of contracts awarded to a bidder to insure the expeditious completion of the improvements required by the contract. All work shall be completed within the time frame as indicated in the verbal issuance of Notice to Proceed set forth in the schedule. In the event that the cost of completing such work exceeds the original contract amount, the Contractor will be liable for the additional costs incurred. Contractor must supply an Owner's and Contractor's Protective Policy for this construction project as follows with the City of Euclid (Owner) named as an additional insured: 1. Property Damage Each Occurrence $1,000,000.00 6. Accident Each Occurrence $2,000,000.00 7.
